I got new wheels and tires with new Tom's in the wheels. Got it back from the alignment shop the light on the dash was on. I thought no big deal I will reset it. So reset light went out. Drove it half a day later went about 25 miles and the light came back on. I have 1.50 wheel spacers on the truck would this make any difference?

What the hell is a TOM?

Do you mean Tire Pressure Sensors for the TPMS System?

The new sensors have to be programmed into the ECU. Take it back to the shop that installed the tires and wheels.

FWIW ... with Apple's autofill on I get "TOMS" instead of TPMS.

TOMS is probably an autofill mistake as I had to correct it here to post this. Lol. :)

PS. I have sent some weird stuff out in messages and emails with this automatic .autofill.

Your truck needs to be reprogrammed for the new Toms (tpms I assume). Depending on where you got your wheels they may be able to do it. Dealer wants $100 to do mine so I'll take the hit on my next Toyota Care oil change. There are DIY posts here as well - search TPMS reset.

Did someone post saying I don't work? That is not the case.
