Indeed I do. Kept the sport mirrors in the hope that I can switch back someday, but they don't allow me to see around the family camper, so until we stop camping I have to cope with fugly mirrors.

I don't understand, what's wrong with tow mirrors?

They're a sign that you actually use your truck like a truck. Apparently, it can be frowned upon within this establishment.

Amen to that. They ain't pretty but you can't tow safe without a good set of mirrors. Some people just don't get it

Tow mirrors are necessary for safety for those who tow wide trailers. They may not look the best, but they are a sign of 2 things: 1 - the truck is used as a truck, not for things that could be done with a minivan 2 - That the truck owner is responsible and safety conscious when using the truck to do truck things. Hating on someone for doing truck things with their Taco makes no sense to me.

Preach it my brother! The mall crawling, icon "jewelry" sporting, I do it solely cause it looks good crowd will never get it. At the end of the day my Tacoma is a truck. I bought it because it is a truck. I got a long bed because it suits my needs better. Towing mirrors are functional. I'm not looking to win a award, or give 2 shits about your opinion. End of rant.

Over the weekend I installed the OME Heavy Kit that I got through the group buy. Was a fun filled weekend of sweat, blood, and more sweat doing this install by myself.

I don't have a problem with tow mirrors if you are indeed towing. It's the guys that throw them on their overly lifted trucks with chrome wheels and rubber band tires that will never see a speck of dust, much less mud, or a scratch on their chrome dropped tow hitch, that push the mirrors all the way out and then hug the center line because they're too busy taking snapchat selfies or making out with their boyfriends, while bumping wanna be country music, to notice that they're about to run people off the road. End rant. Carry on........:oldglory:

Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, and just about (but not all) of the groups who have come out of the woodwork with electronic bass lines and lyrics that have less meaning than the coo's and cries that come out of my 2 week old son's mouth.

I think we need a thread on the evolution of country music, so we can get back to business as usual here.
