Well it got real over the weekend.

Started on Saturday and doing the front half of the suspension. Thankfully I had put on the new skids the weekend before so I did not have to fully remove the sway bar.
Got the fronts on and then called it a night and started back on Saturday doing the rear half of the suspension. Did not run into a lot of trouble except for the rear shocks would not go into the bottom part of the perch really well. Other than that, a couple busted knuckles, a lot of sweat as I was doing this outside in Texas, and a few beers to reward myself. I finally have a lift on the truck.

I went with the ARB OME Heavy Kit for the truck as I do plan on getting a steel front bumper and thought that I might as well just do the 886 springs now instead of having to swap them out later. The ride is great, a little stiff but I like it more than how squishy it was.

Do you have tracks on your shell? I'm about to install a set of Thule tracks on mine this weekend and was wondering how far apart yours are spaced? Or a pic would do, I want to see if there in line with your roof ditch or not

I have not had much updates lately. Recently got laid off on June 30th, but started a new job on August 1st. So finally getting back to the truck.

With then upcoming Appalachian Toyota Round Up, I am working to get my truck ready for a pretty long drive and a great weekend off-roading. This week I have received the following items to help...

Extended Brake lines from here - https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/amazing-deal-on-steel-braded-brake-lines-group-buy.97331/ - Now that I have the lift on the truck, I don't want to risk it being so far from home. So going to go ahead and swap them out with some longer ones just to make sure.

Carling Switches switchbacks from TacomaPros - I had them build me one for 6 switches instead of the normal 5, this way I can have the three extra for three more switches that can go in my Iggy panel. Been needing to redo the back of the switches for a bit and finally went ahead and got these from TacomaPros, I should have done that to begin with to be honest. Such great build quality on it and will make wiring switches up so much easier in the future.

The 8-Piece Quick Fist Kit to mount a shovel and a hatchet and other things in the future. I have a pretty good shovel from Home Depot and just ordered a 24" Fiskars Hatchet from Amazon to mount up as well. Going to take the Hi-Lift bed side mounts that I had built and don't use now and mount the quickfists to them.

A 10 Pack of Toyota Oil Filters
Fumoto Oil Drain Valve - Now that I have the Pelfreybilt IFS skid, less worry for me on getting this valve for oil changes.

Set of Icon Sway Bar Spacers - Got them cheap and why now, any to help the suspension out some right...

Got a lot to do this week / weekend now from the above things to also finishing out my lighting for the Camper shell and a couple extra things.

Got back from the Appalachian Toyota Roundup and had an absolute blast on the trails. Met some great people and wheeled all three days and the last day was without a doubt the best group of people I wheeled with. We did trail 22 and I loved that trail from beginning to end.... my Stealth Custom Series Ray10s however... did now like that trail as they now have some pretty good battle scars on them from the rocks.

I will hopefully be getting some pictures uploaded and posted sometime this week from the trip.

On the other hand... Something big has been ordered for the truck from Pelfreybilt...

sounds great! I love the center hoops, the headlight ones are a little too much, imo. Sorry to hear about the ray 10's.

Yea, I was trying to decide between the full hoops or just the center and I finally chose just the center hoop.

Yea, once I get the truck cleaned it will be worse to look at the wheels as a lot is still covered by mud and dirt. But I will try and fix them a little bit and either plastidip the lip or something to cover up the pretty bad rock rash.
