Try mineral spirits or laqueur thinner on a microfiber towel. Make sure you cover the area with wax after you're done. You could also try 5000 grit sandpaper (or a magic eraser) but the area will need buffed afterwards.

For those of you who have scratched your paint with magic erasers and the like, you can remove them with a buffer, compound, and polish

Here are some photos of the stains. They are more abundant toward the lower end of the truck but there are spots up the driver door to about the handle. Update: also tried a small bit of goo gone and it did t even make a dent. Going to pick up a clay bar and rubbing compound now but the stain doesn't even feel raised to the touch so not sure it will work.

Bring it to a professional detailer and see what they say. Unless it ate into the clear coat for some reason, it is removable

Like I said earlier, laqueur thinner and a microfiber should take care of those

What is up with the texture at the bottom of the door? Almost looks like the paint is bubbling

They all have that texture. I forget what the factory calls the material that causes the texture. It's like a body filler sort of thing

Is it the little brown spots that are the spots in question? You could try isopropyl alcohol. Don't let it dwell. Wet the rag with it and scrub. Then clean off with a wet towel (with water). Could also try mineral spirits, as previously mentioned. I'd also be trying compound/polish/clay.

Once you get the goop off of the paint, try not to put too much goop on the tires.

If your tires look like this you have too much on and it will sling off. o_O

DO yourself a favor and get a nice water based tire shine. It will give you a "new tire" look vice the fake shiny look and it is completely paint safe. Something like the Chemical guys VRP will be good

Don't use lacquer thinner. The white tacomas don't have clear coat your asking for trouble. I wouldn't even use lacquer thinner on a car with clear. Get a tar remover or prep solvent. It won't hurt the paint and will take the stains right off

It's a single stage paint for 1. For 2 it will leave a haze if it doesn't end up eating the paint. It's just too harsh. Would it work? Probably. But I wouldn't risk it. Wd40 would do a better job and be safer than lacquer thinner. Again a tar remover or prep solvent is what you ideally want to use

They do have clear coat. I've never seen lacquer thinner take off any paint on any vehicle whatsoever. I've specifically used mineral spirits and lacquer thinner on many different types of vehicles covered in tar and it worked perfectly. You should follow with a coat of wax after the tar/stain is removed. Other than that it is pretty safe.

Edit: And if for some reason you do mar or haze the paint, you just have to polish it out

I would try some type of cleaner wax. There is this product called ammo NYC hydrate it's a tire dressing. I think he has a YouTube channel. I heard the armor all dressing dries out the tire causing them to crack not a 100% sure tho.
