    20 years ago, most of my friends would have been scared of Korean Food. It's a bit more main stream now.

    Bibim ='s mixed in korean
    bap ='s rice in this case, can also mean food depending on the context it's used.

    Bibim bap

    Haha! Didn't even know they had those. I'm scared and intrigued at the same time.

    Galbi, beef ribs cut against the bone rather than along side it, It's like cutting a cross section from beef ribs. It's the gateway to korean food.

    Don't know if it's true or not but a friend who has had it says it tends to make you sweat a lot, probably some hormone in the meat.

    Had a client in Atlanta a bunch of years ago and there was a Korean BBQ down the street from them. GOOD food. Wish I could find something like it again.

    Korean food is spicy. The main ingredient in this is ground up hot chili paste that is mixed with sesame oil and sometimes sugar or a up Asian pear for sweetness.

    damn.

    korean food might be my favorite. hell, i eat 99% of my daily lunch with a korean spoon just so i can pretend it's korean.

    if i even feel a cold coming on..it's game on. i go to oakland and have a big bowl of Soon Du Bu jige. and you sure as hell not finding any tofu soup from a food truck. no way..you'll get some fusion kalbi burrito or something.

    my go-to dish is Do Sot Bibimbap. i just need to hot stone bowl. and all the small dishes of BanChan..you dont get that from a food truck. none around here.
