You are all aware that these trucks can't tow shit, right? Tow mirrors on these trucks just look silly, like stuffing a sock in your pants.

I tend to stay away from those guys even if I'm not doing anything wrong they still scare me when I see them

 

Highway patrols have had a long tradition of having cool cars. Even police is trying to get in on it.

 

Had some extra -6 AN hose from another project... so I used it.

 

Installed ditch/spot lights!

 

Wired up some extra lights and made a switch panel for the cubby

 

For almost 20 years, I was part owner in a business where we restored antique tractors. Part of the business involved hauling tractors all over the country. I had several 3/4-ton and 1-ton trucks that towed 25' gooseneck trailers, full 102" width, loaded to the hilt....The last 11 years of that time, all the trucks I owned had tow mirrors.

I never used 'em. They look ridiculous and were less than useful. Just made the truck harder to drive in most cases....

It's an ego thing.....Gotta have an exhaust stack that looks like a 55 gallon drum in the bed to go with 'em.

 

My coworker has been towing a 17' enclosed trailer with 2 snowmobiles or multiple dirt bikes in it for 250k miles. It's not the heaviest trailer in the world, but he said it is over 3500# with both sleds and all the gear.

 

Where did you get your u bolt flip and bumps?

 

Isn't the title of this thread "nobody fucking cares what your opinion is"? Oh my bad, it's what have you done to your second gen. Can we please get back to that.
