I have a Husqvarna Trimmer (weed eater) with unique issue.
It's hard to start cold. Had it 3 years now. The issue has progressively gotten worse only this season.
It runs GREAT once you get it started. You can turn it off, come back 5 hours later. Starts fine.
Let it sit over night and it's hard to start again.

No, I do NOT have to leave the choke on or partially on.
Yes, I've cleaned the carburetor. All except the jets. I don't have the special spline tool to remove them.
Could clogged jets cause a hard cold start, but run GREAT once started?

I've taken a parts many small engines. Carburetor rebuilds and re-rings.
But I've not had this particular issue. SOB runs great once it starts......?

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Try the usual - new plug, new air filter, and new fuel filter. If not, replace the carb. They are not too pricey and it should do it for you. Been thru the same on my echo trimmer.

Also - try running the pre-mixed synthetic fuel they sell at Home Depot. I find they like it more as it is ethanol free.

i have tuned two of my buddies husqvarna trimmers, both were way lean...
if the jets are set up lean, even on choke, it will be hard to start.
