Sorry for the lack of updates guys, been crazy busy lately and following through with my undivided attention promise to our wedding haha. Moab pics are coming soon but I know there's quite a few already floating around

Full size crawling like a light weight. Looked like a ton of fun!

 

@TRON_ what kind of mileage have you been getting out of the new rig? Just curious.

 

It was man! Sketchy as hell but with my awesome spotter @RPS1030 , it crawled right up

35s and a very heavy V8 loving foot I typically see between 11.5 and 12mpg . 65-70mph on the freeway easy driving I can get up to 15.5mpg tho

 

haha i know that feeling. Thats about what I expected though. Shes looking killer.

Finally, I got all my Moab pics uploaded and ready to show off! After the loss of my Rinzler, I really didn't feel the need to make the 9 hour drive again only to take a back seat and watch everyone else go play. Well, @SDHQ OFFROAD definitely played a role in my decision to make it happen! With their brand new rock sliders installed, I gained some confidence and decided it was MOAB or BUST!

Moab Bound Friday morning right after a midnight shift...the things we can accomplish when we are too excited for sleep haha

Found some dirt roads before leaving Monument Valley. If I make another Moab trip I definitely need to spend more time there and explore

Not long after passing through Mexican Hat, I met up with @snowtank and convoyed up to Area BFE outside of Moab. We signed in to Rock Therapy and met up with @tubbsisland and @SDHQJASON

T.a.Co. Rock Therapy - Continued

The next morning at BFE I gave Tron a good walk-around and all was good to go, surprisingly I didn't break anything! Definitely wont be hucking my truck anymore though since this truck is being built mainly for Tow pig purposes with "alittle" weekend fun here and there. With that said it was time to break Tron in, MOAB style. Ryan @RPS1030 brought his Power Wagon and we already made plans to take on Hells Revenge in our full size beasts along with Andrew @snowtank and Nate @NateMob in their tacomas Pic Cred: @RPS1030 & @NateMob


Hells we meet again!





Made it to the Hells Gate staging area and met up with another TW group led by Billy @Bruteforce Fab


Once we got there it became clear that no one currently present had ever done Hells Gate before...and at first left everyone looking at the initial decent, thinking it was the gate. Little did they know, Hells Gate was down this nasty looking decent, around the bend and back up on the other side. Since I was the only one who had seen this obstacle before, well you may have already guessed it....I was first to go and lead the way! My spotter @RPS1030 deserves all the credit though since he had never seen Hells Gate before and yet, got me through the entire obstacle with only some minor scuffs on my sliders! (Not to mention he spotted 3 more trucks, all without fail) Also thanks to @Mach375 for the help as well. Pic Cred: @seanpistol

Hells Revenge was soon claimed thereafter and after assessing the damage, I was happy with the outcome and even more satisfied with TRON! I definitely need a new rear plate bumper, something with slightly better clearance, and looking for a dual swingout tire gate....**cough** @Pelfreybilt @Socalduckslayer *cough** @Bruteforce Fab ** Other than that I think I'm pretty set with my armor!


Back at BFE getting ready for the raffle. I was satisfied with my #WannaBeTrophyTruck award from our night at the dunes Thank you @lotsoftoys

Indeed, I wanted to get the truck to the point where I could tackle a trail or 2 for some camping/expedition trips. At the same time, build an expo style trailer to tow the toys on and beat on those vs the truck
