Okay? So how did the installation work out for you? Do you like the result? Thinking about getting 1 myself.

with tailgate theaft on the rise its definitely a good idea
I am very happy with the product and the easy installation. I really just wanted the auto to work with my fob but chose the one with codeable key option.
i work with the truck every day and have a lot of tools and equipment.
I installed it aprox. 3 months ago and I would definitely recommend it.

I bought the keyless one (works one the same key fob as my doors) and mine's been working great.

It's worked fine for a year, and also why would you look forward to somebody else's mechanical trouble ?

    I don't know anymore!
I had one on the prerunner and it had a faulty tumbler. Exchanged for a new one and had the occasional side to side play. About to install one on the 4x4. Works pretty well with the Retrax pro. As an additional deterrent, I installed a hose clamp in a manner that would require crawling under the truck to access the head of the screw.

That happened to me also. Had to loosen the top fasteners on the back of the tailgate to manually open. Was a pain in the arse.
