I am in the process of assembling all the parts I'll need for an 5100/OME 885/HS multi-leaf lift and wanted to ask what recommend for front end "maintenance" should I do while I have everything apart?

My truck has 104,000 miles on it - mostly highway / commuter mileage. Don't have any known issues right now other than I'm experiencing what feels like a front end vibration starting at about 60 MPH. Am going to crawl under there this weekend and poke around but it got me thinking about what I should do while installing the lift.

What I'm curious about are wheel bearings, UCA / LCA bushings, ball joints, CV axles, differential bearings, & propeller shaft u-joints. Basically everything that wears out on the front end. I am already planning on doing the LCA cam bolt replacement with the MOOG problem solver bolts even if they are not seized.

The way I look at it if I have it all apart I want to replace what makes sense but if the stock parts are going to take me to 200K miles why fix what ain't broke?

    Thoughts and suggestions are appreciated.

    Jason

Keep the OEM cam bolts and put anti seize on them , they are far superior than the MOOG bolts. As for other stuff to replace, at 104k I'd do all the ball joints and bushings in the LCA and UCA, replace the tie rods as well as you will need an alignment anyway. If you plan to keep the sway bar, replace the swaybar links as well.

Thank you for the reply! This confirms what I was thinking and your Moog cam bolt comment is consistent with other feed back I've received. Do you have any product recommendations for U/LCA bushings?
