Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Shipping is the killer every time.

Saturday morning after breakfast we're off reading to bb lake. Taking Clark's Summit Trailhead off hwy 38 to Skyline Trail which will dump us in Moonbridge at the lake. Probably hit Jacoby Canyon later that day just so @eccracer104 can check it of his list as well. Sunday I'm unsure which trail but looking into something more challenging. If anything we'll hit the north west area of the lake and scouting yellow post sites for future camping. Perhaps hit Grapevine Canyon Trail but turn back before entering blm land as it's just going to be flat down there. Or we can just play around Holcomb Valley. Plenty of trails in there. Options are limitless.

I actually had the same thought a while back and did all the cad. But since I'm in SB with no major machine shops it was actually cheaper for me to just buy them when they went on sale. And I've been happy with the pelfrey skids ever since

I am looking at these stainless steel skids for 1st gens. A fellow member on here makes them for a decent price.

My ¢.02 on skids. Pelfrey. Located in SD so no shipping -- a huge deciding factor when buying my armor. They're whole site is in sale right now (ending today however). I originally went aluminum but later changed my order to steel solely for the reasons that why not protect my trucks guts with steel when steel is real. I've also heard great things about aluminum skids and @dtaco06 has banged his so in reality it's all up to the buyer. Total weight difference between aluminum and steel (IFS, mid, xfer, gas tank) is 85lbs total. I've always entertained the "my build, my way" phrase so in the end, it's all about what the buyer is looking to do with their rig and their budget. Respect to all!

For 2nd gen though RCI is the cheapest one out there I think... As 4x4 owner I love that they reinforce crossmember for the transfer case skid.

Sounds good, brother. Earlier the better but no need to rush. Could be slightly hung over Sunday morning. Crazy talk, huh?
