Or break it when it's in your pocket.

Unless it's changed over the years, a car's AC system is/was designed to be at peak efficiency and operating conditions whilst riding down the road at 55mph.

Thank you for the leads. I will find one and just leave it inserted in the drivers side vent to conveniently check temps at will.

Mine isn't going to break. It is going to draw blood. :)

The end is SHARP. Entire shaft is stainless.

    Loud as hell URD exhaust!
Mine is subpar, spraying the AC condenser black for my Raptor grill probably didnt help the matter.

Good plan! Depending on where you have your temperature set, the outlet air temp should be at least 30*F cooler than outside air temperature. There are some variations to this rule, but it's a general idea to go by when you're troubleshooting AC.

It appeared to help mine...maybe because it was so low. and it has a lot more than a smaller can. I top off to the higher side but not in the red on the gauge. Many times your 134a level is just low. My 07 Nissan Titan was low from the factory and it barely cooled. I topped it off and it would blow cold air no matter how hot outside after it got the inside cool.

We use the fold up Extech ones with the large display. Old eyes can't see those little numbers anymore.
