Recently got the 10 pack of oil filters. Any similar deals out there for the OE air filters?

I wonder if I write K&N on a sticky note and put it under the hood while I wait for my stickers to get here that could work... right

    all tore up already
.5 mpg from a filter. Dont you think if it changed power, mpg or anything useful, toyota would install these in all trucks for the $2 difference it would make in manufacturing? .5mpg is like a 3% gain in efficiency. Id be surprised if the fancy fake Atkinson cycle added 3% to fuel economy

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Yes- you need the TRD exhaust filter, part # TRD PTR43-52090. It sticks into your exhaust and quiets the engine sound but also ensures you only have pure air coming out the pipe. (These are gold in California, but are outlawed due to CA prop 65). They add about 18% power and a small bump in fuel mileage increase due to the centrifugal back pressure resonance vectoring they produce.

They also have a high flow bypass for when you get your Taco up in revs.

Running K&N in my vehicles for about 20 years (average about 30k a year) and never had any issues with VW TDI‘s or Toyota. Also started to use the cabin filters - if you keep your vehicles for extended times you will save money and increase airflow. The trick is not the airflow since it will be negligible. The real boost is adding a high temperature aircraft composite muffler bearing with a 12-15k RPM range for opening your exhaust evacuation ratio. Coupled with a high grade synthetic blinker fluid to minimize rear vortex formation and you will be hanging on for a wild ride.
