anybody know the difference between toytec 521600 2.5'' coils and the eibach 2.5" coils besides the 50$ difference. was going to grab the 521600 coils with 1/2'' spacer, rear 3 leaf aal and 5100s all around with front set at 0. (truck came with 5100 leveling kit in front) was also thinking of splurging and getting total chaos uca. i know that may be like putting lipstick on a pig (that lift with the much better uca's) but i want to reuse front 5100s and have mostly heard horrible things about LR uca's. also dont really want to spend 1500$ on just the front. any advice/ idea bashing appreciated

There is no difference. 2.5 coils are 2.5 coils.

2.5" in this case is the diameter of the coil spring. The length, number of coils, spring rate, etc can differ, so the 2 are not necessarily the same. Unless ToyTec bought Eibach springs and rebranded them.

Just a data point that while there were some issues with the earlier Light Racing/SPC UCAs, those issues seem to have been worked out. I've been running them for >20K with no problems. And if you do have problems their customer service is excellent and they will take care of you quickly.

I'll give you +1 on asking a question I haven't seen before! Usually it's "What's the best lift out there? Not looking to break the bank! Thanks." No idea on the answer though. Like mentioned above, it's probably best to email them ans ask on the spring rate and such.

Lol. Good catch! Assuming they are spec'd the same, then 2.5 coils are no different from one another. Except maybe if you get into QC aspect of it.

ive seen them branded here on the forums as toytec/eibach so i guess i was getting mixed up. wanted to make sure the toytec 2.5" coils would work on my 1500s set at 0 as good as the eibachs to save 60$. would running the 1.6" coils @ .85 (giving you the similar 2.5" or close lift) be a smoother ride? this is the nicest truck ive ever owned and want to do something solid but 1500$ is about my budget and i still have to do the rear.

Ok yea im sure they've fixed the bug but they sure seem to have pissed some people off which makes me a bit leery. and i didnt really start checking the dates of when people were bitching til end ofmy research so they all could have been ancient threads
