did you CMC yet? im just curious as i have 285/70/17 KO2's and i only rub at full lock and was hoping if i switched to 275's that would resolve the issue. alignment specs are set 0 toe/camber and 3 caster...

How much do the SR grills run? Are they cheaper than aftermarket grills? Or are people just buying them because they prefer the OEM look? If the SR grills are cheaper, the I may go with it instead of an aftermarket...

Got my truck back from the dealer. They said they checked the trannsmission fluid and that the level was good, and tried to give me the typical jargon about why the transmission acts the way it does. I don't believe they actually checked, but at least it's documented.

Got home, finally got around to checking the torque on the u-bolts. Definitely wasn't at the service manuals 52ft/lbs, but sure is now!

Nope but only have about 25 KMs on the spacers so far and all city <70 kph.

With the Spidertrax spacers having a hubcentric and a lug centric connection to the hub and then providing the same hubcentric to wheel interface I wouldnt expect to to have introduced misalignment to create any vibrations.

IIRC Spidertrax instructions read to remove the wheels after 50 miles and check the spacer to hub acorn nuts (which are red loctited) are torqued to 10 ft/lbs less than intial values. This would prove they are seated correctly and have not move around on me. If the torque values are not with that value then they recommend restarting the install and milage check process from the beginning again.

I got my SR5 grille off Craigslist for $100. Wish I had found the guy before that tho (he's not a TWer). He bought a OR grille off eBay. I would have just traded even for it.

Installed some Sumo Springs. Lifted the ass about 1/2 inch, I'll bet it settles to about a quarter after a few miles and months. Don't really notice much of a ride quality difference.

Yes the light pods from caliraised came with those brackets.
I'm using a switch-pro system wich uses a solid state fuse panel and relay system so all I needed to do was run a power wire from the switchpro module to the lights. Otherwise yes you would need a relay, fuse and cab switch for the lights. I have a little more detail about the switchpro in my build thread if your curious.

    Retired/Hobbyist old as f***
Preparing to open a case with Toyota Corporate. I returned to the dealer today for the 2nd time this week to point out things that were not fixed at my 5k service. I did attach a list of issues to be repaired when I dropped it off for service last week.
    (1) Low atf causing slipping and hesitation-FIXED was 1 qt low.
    (2) Horrible suspension noise-greased sway bar bushings-NOT FIXED-noise is still there
    (3) Grease smear in driver door glass since new-they said found no cause-NOT FIXED
    (4) Random trip meter resets-no known cause or fix-NOT FIXED
    (5) Couple of rainy day issues with radio-continuous reboot-unknown cause-NOT FIXED
    (6) 3 of 4 tpms sensors separated from stem prior to removal for new wheels-dealer claimed not possible-tpms light would come on and stay on. Just proved the Toyota dealer wrong on this. I installed 1 with stem and placed 3 without stems inside an old tire. 3 broken valve stems are separately in my console. TPMS light immediately went out. This is the opposite of what the Toyota "expert" told me at the dealer. Next week will sit down with the actual service manager to discuss this and the other issues not fixed at 5k service. Next time I take for service I insist on a loaner truck and they can keep mine a month if needed to fix EVERYTHING.
If you have not seen the suspension noise video it is available at:
    http://s38.photobucket.com/user/mrproduxn/media/062716 tacoma squeak_zpspspxtis2.mp4.html
Also a link to prove tpms work if broken off of stems:
