Was a general statement not directed at you... If it was I would have quoted you. Sort of like I just did.

Any particular reason you're looking at the LRs?

Two words, Price-point and budget, Tires/wheels @2k with mounting alignment, lugs etc....2k for a Stage 2 Icon extended, add another $500 for misc items tossed in with the LR UCA's...or I could pop for 7-800 for TC's.
My Goal is to get a full 2" over stock, run 285/17's be able to align my truck with no rubs and offroad just the same...
So I save a couple hundred to put in my pocket for Vegas....the mind and thought of a disabled veteran on a budget.
But I sure would rather have a Camburg or Total Chaos...Vegas man...road trip...every penny counts, but I want my ride to matter when I am off road....number 2.7 sticks in my head and I cant get it out....so no stock UCA is gonna cut it...

I just bought an OME setup with 886 springs, dakars out back and TC. I do mostly overlanding. I figured this is a good start and if I ever do want to get into heavier stuff way down the road I can upgrade but at least have the UCAs on already.

    It really does look good.

With those tires, How much different from the stock highway tires is ride quality and noise? Just curious.

    Thanks

I like Toytec as a company and people, but had to opt for this.

Thanks @slowwrx137 you made my day.....
Absolutely awesome, damn they bet the hell out of everyone so far time will tell.

Just have to explain to the wife why I spent so much on parts....wheels here but she has yet to see the tires....one advantage of being married over 32 years or is it 33....they know what to expect.....

Hey bro, Vegas will just have to take the pain and pleasure I am gonna give it....glad to get the tubular UCA's although I would have been happy I think with the SPC's.

Questions for experts... will a 6in suspension lift require a drive shaft extension, cb drop, etc?
Has anyone seen the need to change the gear ratio with 33s or bigger?
    Cheers

Im about to order the 700lb 14" springs myself. I'm not sure how so many are running 600lb springs on these trucks and maintaining lift heights. My icon 650lb have already sagged almost 1/2 an inch over a month. (I do drive it hard offroad). I've brought the preload up so it's level but there is no way that's going to workout even with a lighter weight low profile winch bumper.

I will be using the Icon Stage 2 system and will b adding a Leaf in the rear.1" lift in the rear n close to a 3" in the front is what I'm looking fr...will b keep stock wheels and tires fr a bit then switch up to 17's just not sure on the exact size of tire yet.

295's look the best on 17's, that is unless you bump up to dirty 5's :D
