Anyone have this happen? The OEM leaf springs are fine and my "off-roading" consists of only dirt roads.

Had them for 3 years, called Toytec and was told there is only a 1 year warranty.

Was 1 mile from home on a normal paved road when I heard the vibration. Pulled over and removed 1/2 the leaf by hand, other piece had already fallen off.

Are you driving it? The u-bolts on that side should be torqed back down if you are. Also, now would be a good time to start hitting the u bolts with penetrating lube so they will come off easier when you do swap them out.

I am. The leaf actually broke in 2 spots. The center piece is still being held in place by the U-bolts but I'll defiantly get under it tonight and check them.

I think at a minimum always at least go with the 3 leaf progressive AAL

to many to list, check the build thread
that does look like its been broke for a while with the rust showing on the crack if i were you id just buy another AAL or the progressive AAL. EDIT: id actually just replace the entire rusted leaf pack with OME / ARB Dakar leafs and save a bunch of work.

A small handful of select mods.
Honestly with how weak the OEM pack is any AAL has to pick up quite a bit of the load. The fact that you got 3yrs out of the AAL doing all the work is damn good.

Do you carry a load a lot? If yes you might want to pull the trigger on a set of Dakar leaf springs and refresh that rear end.

How many miles were on your OEM springs before you added the AAL?
