I have a long travel on the front but I want more clearance, suggestions?

Hey guys, I have an 03 tacoma with a total chaos long travel on the front and I would like a little more lift on the front but I dont want to compromise ride quality. any suggestions?

 

Without cranking in more lift by adding pre-load to the COs, I don't see any options. I suppose you could get a little more by going to a larger tire but that may also require adding pre-load and also some tubbing in the pinch weld area.

Are you a 4x4?

 

no its a 2 wheel drive, I have a prerunner set up and just want a little more clearance for offroading so I don't want to go with a bigger tire

 

Lift spindles.

 

Buy a skid plate.


You should have loads of clearance with that lt. More than youd need for where a 2wd truck will get you.

 

what size tires are you running? what are you trying to get over that you need more ground clearance?
