I am sure it's purely coincidental, but I have had 4 nails/screws get into my Cooper tires in the 2-3 months I have owned them, all needing patch repair. I had 1 get into my Rugged Trail's in 2+ years of running them. Same driving habits/routes etc.

This may be a stupid question, but is the more "aggressive" tread pattern prone to picking up objects like nails/screws etc more easily? Just curious.

I've had them for a while on both my personal and work truck (and the work truck sees some terrible terrain including sharp rocks and rusty nails) and I've yet to have a flat.

I just had a set of these put on yesterday. I couldn't imagine the tire makes a difference in how many nails your tires decide to hang on to. It's just bad luck and where you drive.

Bad luck. I've only picked up 2 nails/screws in almost 70k miles on my two sets of AT3s.
