NW WA Meet / BS Thread

Just to gauge interest and see if anyone might want to go I am thinking about doing a run July 23rd/24th weekend that would be a little bit of an offshoot from a thread started earlier this year.

After looking at some maps I think we could take NF-18 and NF-17 to connect from about Whitehorse on Hwy 530 up to Concrete on Hwy 20. I want to try to make that run and then maybe stop at the fly-in in Concrete before heading south down to the Sauk river off Hwy 530 where a few of us went exploring a few months ago to camp for the night. Let me know if anyone is interested, camping at the river looked to be mostly just random open areas up on the sand bar.

 

I thought the fly-in was the 30-31?

 

Thinking about a lil quicky run down in the Carbonado area, maybe Surprise lake on Sun. Just an exploratory probe. Anyone interested?

 

I would go but I'm actually going to fortune creek that day with 2 other rigs if you wanna join us.

 

You had me second guessing myself, no just verified fly-in is 22-24th

 

2 possible runs this weekend and I can't go because I have the kids. I'm considering fortune creek but I would have to go solo because I have to pull over and feed the toddler and diapers and all that fun stuff.

 

Would my stock truck be able to hang?

 

This will be my first time going so I can't really give you an answer. But some said the trail is easy.

 

We're doing the Olympics/Hoh Rainforest... then heading over to Raven's Roost for our 'Maiden Voyage'!

 

If you go up the power line, that is really fun, but a little demanding for a stock vehicle.

Yes. A few places you'll probably hit your trailer hitch/rear bumper but just take it slow over those. And take your trailer wiring harness off and zip tie it up out of the way.

 

Doing it in 2 days. Camping in Hoh, then over to Raven's Roost (possibly camp near there).

Hi guys! Anyone got a driveshaft retubed over in Seattle area?
I'm fixing my diff tomorrow so I'm thinking of finally getting my driveshaft redone at the same time...

 

Drivelines NW are very good shop. I used them for years. They are in downtown area
