2012 DCSB lift time - need your suggestions

    Greetings!

    I am wanting to put a mild lift on my 2012 DCSB. It currently has 265/75/16 STMaxx's and factory suspension. The rear springs have 3 leafs and a helper - I assume this is equal to the "TSB" packs but not sure.

    My goal is to have a small lift that will not greatly affect any "angles" or create vibes, etc...

    Initial thought process is to do 5100's with the front set at .85" and leave the rear alone. Another option would be 5100's with the front set at 1.75" and the wheelers multi leaf AAL.

    This is my daily driver and reliability and good ride is key - but want a more aggressive stance with the 265's. I'd also prefer to keep a slight rake on the truck as I do use it as a truck.

    Your approach sounds similar to mine. I went 1.75-2" up front and the 3 leaf progressive AAL in the rear with the overloads removed for 1.5" lift. Different components but similar look. My only suggestion would be heavier springs up front rather than setting the 5100s at 1.75". The 3 leaf progressive AAL in the rear improved the rear end ride much better over stock. The truck also does not squat as much when carrying light loads. I have no vibes and the CV angles are that of a stock Baja/Pro.

    Yes, if you have the 3 leaf plus overload in the rear, then you have the TSB equivalent leaf pack.

    No vibes, no angle changes?

    Keep it stock.

    If you use it as a truck, I wouldn't bother with a 3 leaf AAL. There is no lift kit that doesn't change something. The possibility of vibes is a constant, so if that's really a large concern then I'd either stay stock or commit to the idea that you might get vibes, and you'll need to fix them as best as they can be.

    thanks all.

    its going to get something done - the fear of vibes isn't a deal breaker as I've lifted several jeeps over the years and understand what comes with the territory.

    Will a 2" require me to get new UCA's?

    1/4 spacer is for taco lean - assume its needed with non OEM coils.

    So toytec or OME 884's to net around 1.5-1.75" of lift?

    Toytec is rated at 1.6", 884s are ~2". The Toytec has a slightly higher spring rate, meaning firmer spring, which I personally prefer.
