Dent in passenger door; makes the truck faster like dimples on a golf ball.
I have a 1996 1st Gen Tacoma that now off the road and I'd like to part it out. It still runs; I use it for gathering firewood.

The body is in great shape, except for the tailgate and one rust hole on the passenger fender.

It has a Roll-and-Lock cover, it hasn't locked in some time but I've never checked out why. I still have the keys to it.

I'd like to sell off the cosmetic things and things I don't need in the woods like mud flaps, flairs, tail lights, etc. first so I can still use it for a while. But then again, for the right price and reason I'd put it up on blocks if I had to.

I'm in the Finger Lakes region of New York, south of Rochester.

We can deal, but I'll I ask is that you pay for shipping.

    Thanks!

    Which section(s)? (See attached photo).

Do you want just the interior section with the vinyl gear shift covers and the rear bracket? (Note the front bracket is welded to the cab).

I would say $20 for each section or best offer.

Note for the large compartment: Looks like the previous owner broke the internal bottom plastic mounting feet and glued them on. I re-broke one and will be gluing it back in place. These holes fit over studs that point up from the cab (i.e. no bracket).

Hey I would really like to buy the seat trim down near the floor on the left side of the drivers seat if it is good shape. Is it still firmly fixed, or have the grommets that hold it in place been broken from getting in and out? I'd give you $20 plus shipping to NC. Gabe 704-668-4979

    Gabe,

Check out the attached (2) photos. Is this the piece? It's the part that hides the seat folding mechanism and is held with one screw. It's all intact. There is a second part on the inside that would be more difficult for me to get to but I could try if you want that too.

    Blkvoodoo,

I'm just starting to scratch the surface of the teardown, so it'll be a while before I get to the spindles and axles.

If you have a Google account we can use Google Wallet, otherwise I'll have to set up a PayPal account (I'm new to this). I'll see what I can do for the shipping.

Yeah that will work. Just to verify... It has 2 tabs on the inside that hold it in place along with screw. They look ok in the picture but just want to make sure they are pretty solid and not all bent up

Yes, there are (2) tabs (see attached photo). One that registers into the metal bar of the seat and the other is large with a locking tooth. They look intact and it came off as expected with no plastic pieces flying about.

I just made a PayPal account so now the option is yours. Send me a PM with your info (I'll send mine in return) and I'll get back to you with the shipping price. Looks like USPS Priority is a good deal at about $8.

    McLuna,

Take a look at the attached photos. Which do you want, driver side, passenger side or both? This is a standard cab so there is no "front".

I'd say $15 each. I have all the screws but they are really rusty on top.

    boostedka,

Take a look at the attached photos. Are these the sections that you want?

    They are in great shape.

Note the following: One of the cosmetic retaining pins (near the hinge of the door) is missing the pin; it's in the door, if I can recover it I will. Also note there are two missing metal tabs that broke during removal. I don't think it'll be an issue given how many tabs there are and the location of the lock hole to register the part. Installation appears to be: straighten the metal tabs and pound the face of the part into the door. There are divots that will bend the tabs over.

$20 each and I'll get back to you with shipping costs. They are very long and I need a scale.

    Ok, just the passenger side.

Regarding the emblems, I'll see if I can get them off. I think the driver side is corroded.

I remove items and inspect them first before quoting so I know if they are in good shape and the effort it takes...and believe me the front bumper took hours to remove!

    McLuna,

    See the emblem photos.

They came off intact. On one the first (3) letters are devoid of all chrome and is bare plastic. The other emblem is still all chrome.

Up close both have a micro-pitting that chrome gets but from any distance away they still look good. I only washed them, the back still has adhesive remains (see photo).

    $10 total for both.

    Brice,

Check out the photos (driver side shown).

It's in great shape and came off really easy. There is a scuff about an inch in diameter near license plate area. Note on the backside there is a partially broken locating pin. It's not an issue given the number of other snaps. I will glue it once it dries off.

    $15
