so I was looking into getting the bed outlet for my sr5. As most of u know sr5 don't have a bed outlet. I wanted to get the sport bed outlet housing and upgrade it to be able to use more power. I'm horrible with wiring but is something like this possible? Any input will help. Thanks.

Now I know I've seen people put outlets in their cab and their beds. I suck at wiring so can anybody chime in to let me know if it's even possible?

Secondary air filter removal, K&N drop in, Removed front mud flaps, Toyota all weather matts, skid plate, bug guard. Bilstein 5100's all around fronts set at 2.5", OME add a leaf, Goodyear Wrangler Authority 265/70/17, stubby 6.5" antenna, smoked tail lights, blacked out badges.
I would buy a better aftermarket power inverter, mount it somewhere inside of the cab, and then run the wiring to the receptacle. You will end up with a more powerful outlet that way.

you could get the bed cubby for the OEM weather proof AC outlet. but thats all your going to get, you will need to wire up an inverter, and at that point you would be much better off going with one thats aftermarket for more power.

the TRD inverter is 400 watts. You could get a better (higher wattage) inverter aftermarket inexpensively. The TRD inverter is located underneath the center console, you could probably mount your aftermarket inverter wherever you want.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Pretty much. An inverter capable of higher amperage to the socket. Keep in mind more current means longer thicker wiring as well to get all that juice to the socket itself.
