Nothing so far but you know that's probably going change. Previous Vehicle: 2004 Jeep TJ Sport Mean Green high amp alternator constant 14.8v, 4" Pro-comp Stage II lift, 33" Tires on 16" rims, X-over steering, Custom bumpers, Pro-comp steering damper, Rubicon Express Track bars, JBA headers, Magnaflow Cat, Banks Cat-back exhaust, Airaid intake, Optima Yellow top, 5 farad Tsunami hybrid cap, 1400w RMS Hifonics mono amp, 400w Hifonics stereo amp, 2x Eclipse 10" subs 4ohm SVC, sealed wood/fiberglass enclosure, Alpine Type X 5.25" Components, Clarion 4x6 dash speakers, JVC El Kameleon CD/DVD HU, Neoprene seat covers, 100% copper wire throughout, Chrome dash knobs, Blue Interior LEDS, 4:10 Yukon gears, euro brush guards, hella 500 fog lamps, big 3 nonsense, throttle body spacer, LEDS Tails, Cross-drilled and slotted Front rotors, Class II hitch (welded on) Skyjacker sway bar disconnects.
I would like to add some bass to my factory system.
Although if funds permitted I would prefer to change out the whole system.
For now, I would like some bass.

I really like the cs110lg-tw1 from JL Audio.
It is a sealed enclosure with the amplifier built in. It looks as if it would fit behind my rear seats without actually measuring the space physically. I've owned cheap speakers and expensive ones and now that I am a lot older I prefer quality to earaches.

I am curious if anyone has this exact enclosure installed in their double cab. What is the sound quality like? Did you have to modify the vehicle in any way to facilitate it fitting? I prefer not to remove any part of my rear seat, nor do I wish to go the route of installing a component sub, make an enclosure, buy amps and make the whole thing fit together. I've done this before and I enjoyed the challenge but there is far less space in my Tacoma then my wrangler had.

I just put the non-amplifier version of this in my 16 yesterday. Hits hard and sounds great. It BARELY fits behind my passenger rear seat removing the plastic bins and the back of the seat's plastic. Seat shuts and feels fine sitting in it. My jx250/1 and this both fit snugly behind the seat on that side. If keeping factory HU I highly recommend the bass knob to go with your setup to turn it up to taste.

So, you had to remove the back of the seat? Will it not fit without removing the plastic? I realize that the plastic cargo tray has got to go. I theoretically plan to install this behind the driver side rear seat which is why I am going with the amplified version. I need to keep the wider tray for camping crap. I unfortunately have to keep the factory HU for now. To use the amp's high level inputs, do you just have to splice off the front door speakers and connect those to the amp? Just curious, I have always used RCA's previous.

You can do that, if the amp accepts high level input. Many here seem to do that. My shop in town always recommends a LOC and I did one in my truck. With the rear seat storage removed on that side, I had a cp108 micro sub put there. It BARELY fit between that corner and the seat hinge in the middle of the seat. I doubt the micro wedge will fit because of that seat hinge and the underlap from the other side's plastic bin.

Make sure you run a bass knob however you end up going. If you ditch both bins, you can easily carpet the back wall in about an hour and out whatever you want back there. Look at the BBP stickie above and see how he did it. Mr. Marv has a stickied thread, too, with that info. It looks pro and let's you put WAY more stuff behind the seats.
