Sounds to me like it is crying for some oil.

Nah dealer tried that. It lasted 3 hours and started squeaking again. Who has to oil suspension on a nearly brand new $40K truck anyway? Service manager went on a ride along with me today to hear the driveline howl I'm getting and said "Damn this thing sounds like an old Ford!":mad:

Gave a lift to a smaller, faster, amphibious creature out to the river for the weekend.

Took 6' hardcover off and put it back on by myself (no overhead lift) ... then the rain hit and I took this pic.

I get squeaking that comes and goes... I "think" mine is just dust though, because i off road quite a bit and live on a very dusty dirt/limerock road.

If it didnt go away id be upset and headed to a dealership but in my case it comes and goes. Spraying underneath the truck doesnt always help. So sometimes i think maybe its not dust... then all of a sudden the squeaking stops... And im reassured it must have just been dust.

Service advisor told me today that this is a known problem on the 2016 Tacoma but Toyota does not have a solution. Not good.
