After reading these answers, I feel like I'm the only one that lets my pooch ride shotgun.

All the covers were from Amazon. I got that particular barrier for free second-hand. My dogs actually spend most of their time in the back under a shell, but I take care of dogs professionally, and regularly use the back seat for dogs that need some separation. I've since taken the barrier out since most dogs do fine without it, and I can tie them in if need be. It can go in and out in under five minutes.

I came to this thread expecting pictures of dogs chillin in tacos.
fuck you guys for giving me false hope

but for the tread. before when she younger my girl used to sit in the back and behave so I just had some sort of dog seat cover thing I found at winners (canadian equivalent to TJ Max/Marshals I guess)

Basically just went around the back head rest and the front ones. Worked great for $15 until she got older and for some reason wont sit in the back anymore, she has to be in the front. or someone needs to sit in the back with her.

my girl rides shot gun too.
only place I can keep her and have her not get all nervous. I've tried having her in the back and she just cries and tries to jump in the front.

only way my girl will sit in the back is if my human lady friend is in the front. I've had her in the bed but only on short drives around the ranch, she seemed to like it though

if there's someone in the front she'll try and sit on their lap haha. and her being a medium size, not really a lap dog. Unless someone sits in the back with her.

My 45-50lb aussie thinks shes a <10lb lap dog, makes for some funny seating situations.

hahaha, aussie is my next pup probably. my german shepherd is now with my uncle so she's gone. Just my pesty brittney spaniel that can never stop being a pest. But she's an old girl so a few more years and she probably wont be around anymore.

Your pooch which i'm guessing is your picture is gorgeous. Love aussies. Such beautiful dogs.
But yep, my GSD thought she was a lap dog. she also loved to jump on my bed and then kick me almost pushing me out of my own bed. Now I just need to have my dog snore. And carry her up stairs, she can do it on her own, but its hard for her so I just carry her, not that heavy probably like 35-40lbs. She cries to be carried up when I'm home, but shes full of shit cause when I leave for work shes downsstairs and when I come home I find her upstairs on my bed so...
