    Bought a switch panel just to make sure you have something to do when you get back. My 3rd gen 4R is getting the upgrades a piece at a time.

    Your bracket worked fine in my 3rd Gen 4runner.

    The screw pattern on the bracket matched the OEM frame as well as the screw pattern on my Alpine stereo. Also I think the bracket is sized to mount either above or below the single DIN stereo so I can't imagine how it wouldn't fit most any single DIN opening. My only caution would be if your application required a front slide-in type install. I bought a front slide-in stereo for the Tacoma and then had to sell it for a rear mount.

    For the rear mount it seems like it should be fine for most applications.

    Thanks. I wouldn't imagine them being different either. Most vehicles now days are universal with each other unless they have a different dash design.
