Then made it pretty.

Painted it so it wouldn't be so obvious with the fenders. The front is color matched and I hit the sides with semi-gloss.

 

What is the canister thats hanging?

 

I have no idea actually lol it was mounted inside the inner fender.

 

So we leave it hang...not knowing of its importance.....

Perfect.

 

Prolly the airbag sensor.

 

We accidentally drilled into the hose that's on it too I got another one though to replace it. I'm sure it's either A/C related or emissions related. Eventually I'm going to mount it where the battery goes and move the battery to the bed. That way it won't get hit.

 

Its a vacuum accumulator for your ADD. they are vacuum operated in the early years. 2001 they went electric.

Got one fender mostly fitted today. Had to grind on it a bit. Should be able to mount it tomorrow hopefully.

Yesterday got the front fender mounted.





Then today got the bed nekkid on one side.



Then after a bunch of fit, mark, cut, rinse and repeat the bedside fit on! It's still a little tight so needs a little more trimming but at least it fit lol the bed is unbolted and pulled back so it's not totally straight yet.
