I just bought a new 2016 Tacoma TRD OffRoad 4x4. It has just over 1000 miles on it. After having the truck for some time I started noticing an odd sound coming from under the truck. It sounds like a loud cricket. Any input is appreciated. Is it normal? or does it sound like there is an issue?

My high pressure fuel pump makes a chirping noise like that, open the hood and listen to the passenger rear to see if its noisier. Still awaiting a TSB for that, it's not a serious issue, more of an annoyance.

After taking the truck to 2 different dealerships. I got the same response "We do not hear anything."

Contacted Toyota yesterday on the corporate website to have the issue addressed.

    Waiting for a response.
