If you have a squeak, bang, clank, metalic-sound, ect coming from the front, most noticeably in slow speed parking-lot/off-road maneuvering, check only the very front two body mounts by the radiator.

    Catch-up

OEM mounts shown, you can see the wear groove on the Driver-side metal sleeve that had also cut through rubber mount making contact with frame horn.

    New poly mounts installed

I think the driver-side was worse from possibly the battery/front taco lean. The lean from D/P in the front with the new poly ones is almost non existent now, noticed OEM rubber was to soft and compressing more on driver than pass. To note: I am also running no sway-bar on kings if that makes a difference on forces at hand here?

Noise's I was experiencing are 100% gone now and am F'n happy!

    Initiative; you have it.

    Out of curiosity...
How many miles did you have prior to the sound?
Did you ever retorque before that?
    We're they abnormally crushed?

Its on and off for me. Some days I hear it. Some days I don't. My dad and I looked for the core support mounts today, found them, and realized the whole inner fender needs to be removed to access them. Fortunately today im not hearing that chirping bird call like metal on metal squeak. So i gave up on it. Canyonrunner makes it seem as easy as removing the gas cap. Or am i just an idiot and looking at the wrong bolts?

I have under 3k, I think the noise started around 1500 miles. Yes I retorqued a few times and lube, which did nothing. As you can see one was completely shot and the other was almost worn through as well, Which is why lube/tightening/loosening didn't do squat.

Shit took 30 min for both sides, done. Didn't remove anything, remove nut on bottom, take bolt out top, there is room!

Ok... I'm certain I'm getting to be a huge PITA right about now but i gotta ask a huge favor. Take a video of how you're looking at these bolts, like thick angle you're viewing from, to better help my apparently inept ass access them and install my $20 bushings. Actually even a few pics would work. Just make it obvious of where you're looking from. Please and thanks

Mine started at 2800 and only lasted a few days. This time started around 4900 miles and continues weeks later at 5450 miles. I will absolutely investigate this tomorrow. I am not fixing it but would like to show dealer for reference. Is picture facing forward on passenger side or facing rearward on driver side.

I seem to be hearing this from the front passenger side when I go over bumps. Can you fellas please explain? Is it normal to hear some tuff rattling underneath. Its only a week old and its unusual for a new truck to be making rattling noises. Thanks for the help fellas, loving the 16, but this noise is bothersome.

If you hear a rattle then I would stop at the dealer and see if your spare tire is anchored tight against frame. Possible running board loose. I think the main problem we have involves squeaks.

Dealer did say they are aware of an upcoming flash for the transmission. Could be 2 weeks. Could be 2 months.

Update. Dealer said Toyota will replace my passenger side body mount bushing. They said Toyota has seen one case of a misaligned radiator mount support failure from manufacturing. Really. Just one. Anyway I told the dealer to eliminate the risk and replace both. He really thought that was funny. No way. Not gonna happen. Thank Mr Toyota for saving the company another $10 part. So how long should the driver side last. It carries a little more weight than the passenger side.

image.jpg Finally got it done. Wasn't fun removing the grill and bumper and getting the stock garbage ones out wasn't very easy. But the noise is gone and my ever escaping peace of mind is back for a little while longer

Can you say if it's part quality or improper installation that caused them to fail?
I've heard it mentioned, some have been installed sideways(whatever that means) or have inconsistent bushing squash between mounts.
