Max towing weight for the 4cyl is 3500 pounds. You will want to go ultralight.

It'll get the job done, but not in a hurry.

I tow about a ton behind a V6 with auto and tow package, and I notice it. I wouldn't dream of routinely towing 3500 lbs, it would be a lot for my truck. If I were you I'd keep it inside a ton given your 4 banger. By the way, is your truck a 4x4?

I tow my hybrid, around 4000 lbs, all the time with my V6 4X4 with a tow package. Rating on it is about 6900 towing capacity. I bought it for exactly that reason. Your 4 cyl is rated as others have stated. That will limit you on the camper you can tow.

Trac rac, tow hitch, fog lights, tonneau cover, Texas Edition rims, custom console, weathertech floor mats.
My popup is about 2200 full dress plus I load up kayaks and other gear in the back of the truck and it pulls it pretty easily. As long as you don't get too ambitious you should be fine.
