Sr5 vs Sport DC

Any pics of yours? Did you add the led headlights? That's what I plan on doing.

 

Here's my two cents. I have a SR-5, 4x4, AC and so far I'm loving it and in my pecticular case no issues so far. Here in California or at least in my area and at the time of purchase, dealers wouldn't interested too much in dealing. I paid $ 28,659.00 with an out the door price of 33k. I really like the OR, but I didn't want to pay the higher price. Shortly after I bought the truck I added mild factory type mods and now at least looks wise resembles an OR minus the decals. My decision was bases on $$, and what I really, really need. Here are before and after pics and if I don't mind noting, I think the truck looks pretty ok despite being a lower trim level.

 

LED headlights are worse than the stock halogen. You want HID

Out the door at $33,500. v6 auto 4x4. and yes i did add 2 qt atf at about 1500 miles.

I was driving by and saw it up on the lifted showcase rack. Reminded me of Night Rider...had to have it. They just unloaded it off the truck that week.

$1790 difference, which in my opinion, the navigation + power outlet alone are worth that much without going w/ aftermarket and breaking the warranty.

If you plan to keep the truck forever, I think those commodities are worth the price tag.
If you plan to sell the truck later, the TRD badge will allow you to sell it for 2k more...

 

Only thing I care about is a/c power outlet. I can't get that in sr5

 

I would get a basic Sport 4x4. In your situation. Remember, there's two trims for Sport and OR. Regular and Premium and Tech.

 

Why is the Sport more appealing than the OR to you?
