If you want just white Dtrls then resisters for hyperflashing are needed. Mine are super easy to install and come with instructions. Parking is a plug and play bulb as well. No need for rear turn LEDs unless you want them.

If our ant a quote send me a pm and I'll get a quote for you for those.

Remeber most states want Amber turns. That is why that is an option. Some people don't care but have to mention that.

Recieved my amber DTRL w/resistors the other day and installed in under 30 min. Looks great and an easy install.

Alright yeah could you pm me a quote for the LEDs and resisters Jumper? And I know resisters get really hot when they're used for normal blinkers but does that mean they get even hotter if used for DTRL? And where would you recommend mounting the resisters?

Are you wanting the white/ambers or the Amber only ones?
Resisters are mounted to metal with the screws I provide for you. Mounting location is in the instructions provided as well.

    Some questions about Amber fogs:

Do these come in two different brightness options and do you (or anyone on here for that matter) have any pics showing output from a driver's view?

Would there be any advantages or disadvantages to using these with Amber Laminate-X on the stock housings?

These are just a direct plug in replacement for the stock bulbs, right?

Finally, price for a pair to 30263?

    Thanks

Yes the LEDs have a dim and a bright side. The advantage of LEDs are a couple things. One they are way less heat than a conventional bulb, and don't use anywhere near the same electrical usage amps or volts as a conventional filament bulb does. Yes the Amber only Dtrls are a plug n play bulb but due to the lower draw they don't create as much resistance so with just the bulb you will blink fast when hitting your turnsignal. This is easily fixed with resisters I make in order to make the install very easy. They come with instructions as well.

I don't actually have a pic at the moment from the drivers view but I'm sure someone has taken one.

quick question.. it looks like the 400 lumen reverse lights are more "blue'ish" than the 700 lumens? or is it just the way the picture came out?..

I was actually asking about LED FOG replacement bulbs only, not dtrl but that's interesting info nonetheless.

So reading between the lines, having led fog bulbs wouldn't cause a heat related problem if used with Lamin-X on the lenses, right?

No heat issue with or without it. I've had people use vinyl and all kinds of things for color differences

Are you trying to get a certain color with the laminex?

I have a 2016 Tacoma and am interested in bright white interior lights, super bright white reverse lights, and maybe stronger while DRLs. You seem to be the one stop shop for LEDs. Can you send me some best options and costs? Thanks.

I installed my amber DTRL's a couple days ago. Kept getting random hyper flashing.

The OEM wiring is 18awg on my truck. The T taps are 14-16awg. I used my wire strippers and stripped the wire a little bit then tinned the wire. It's snug now and all is fine. I'm not sure if this is a common issue but it seems the red t taps would fix the problem.

I was also able to pull off the spade connectors so I put the red size on and it's good now. It looks like the resistor wire is 18 awg or a lower end 16 awg.

Here are my DTRL resistor mounting locations for anyone interested. I couldn't find my stubby phillips screwdriver or I would have done a more stealth location on the passenger side.

    Drivers side.

    Passenger side.

The red ones will actually wear through the oem wire faster. If the spade connector was a little loose that could have been the issue with the resister, but usually the spade gets kicked to the side a little and doesn't go into the ttap. This is the usual problem if still hyperflashing after install.

Also with changing where I showed you to mount them, make sure you keep them away from other wires as they will melt wires they come in contact with.
