What head unit do you use/what's your audio setup?

    I am starting to get into changing the head unit in my Tacoma considering the one I have is stock from 2003. I went over to car-toys to get a general conciseness of how much I am going to need to pay. Prices for me ranged from $200-300.

    These are the 4 that I narrowed down to:





    I think I am going to go with the Alpine CDE-HD149T. It has the most options for expansion in the future and has a display with actual pixels.

    But I want to know what you use, what's your audio setup?

    Holy shit.. for that price you could get a good 2 din video, or a much better single din in my opinion... Check out crutchfield.com They have a very wide selection... i found a Pioneer that can do App radio and pandora

    i have a Pioneer DEH-80prs, but im running an active stereo setup.

    I did install the new-ish Sony headunit that puts out 40w rms instead of the normal 18w rms in my brother 4runner powering some Rockford Fosgate components and coax speakers in sound deadened doors, sounds great, the extra power is noticeable
