Connecting Exhaust Pipes?

I was wondering if there is another way to connect exhaust pipes without welding them. I dont have a welding machine and I do not have the money to go get it welded. Any help guys/girls?

 

If they aren't flanged on the ends- You'd have to get flanges welded on. If you try to use collars they can leak and they are less than pretty.

Have you priced out getting what you need welded?? It really shouldn't be all that much....

You could use clamps but they won't be as good as a weld and probably as expensive after shipping and all. Just go to a couple shops for an estimate. It really isn't expensive at all.

 

thanks guys, ill just use the ubolts temporarily until I have money to get them welded.

 

I just bought stainless steel 2.5" band clamps from summit racing. Cost about 5-7 bucks per clamp. Only needed 3 and the shipping was 4 something to VA. I'll try to post some results on how it turns out.

 

did u buy a kit or are u jus tryin to swap out mufflers! most kits are jus bolt on! i know mine was. u can buy exhaust clamps at advance or autozone!

Sweet. I was going to say that would be loud as hell if there were no cats. On the 4.0 no muffler sounds good to.
