From what I read so far the Hilux would have a market in the US but being smaller inside and out would be the question.
Taco would not sell here like all US vehicles as too thirsty and too big. We can import and convert taco for around $120k au which is more expensive than buying any jap car. A Hilux sr5 new is around $55k au. Then open cheque book to mod. Mine with mods so far about $90k with another 10k on the wish list.
