Headstrong, wheelers, and icon. Are they all the same? I plan on installing without the overload, wanting around 1.5" of lift. If the quality is the same, is the installation the same also. Seems there's some grinding on the icons. Havn't seen if grinding is needed on the other two. I'm on a waiting list for the headstrong one. But I'll switch if another is better and easier to install. Thanks for any info!

I went with the Icon AAL - likely will leave the stock overload in place to compensate for any sag down the road, but haven't installed my kit yet. I went with Bilstein 5100s all around with 885s up front.

I'm leaning towards getting the Dakar full length and taking out an overload just because I've heard it lasts longer. AAL is still on the table for me as well.

I got the deaver 1.5" - 2" aal and am happy. Install wasn't bad, just take your time. I'm not new to wrenching but this was my first time to install an aal. Took me about 2.5 hours. I left the overload leaf in as well. Only thing I had to cut was the excess part of the centering bolt. Very easy with a dremel.

ICON, Wheelers, Headstrong is the exact same one. I went with the ICON out back with the ICON 2.0 shocks. And OME 887's on 5100's up front. Left the overload in got 3 inches up front and 2 inches out back.

Where did you buy the deaver. And do you happen to know the part number.
