i found an easy way to get rid of red clock face. Remove radio from dash, remove clock from radio assembly. After getting clock assembly and removing clock to expose the plexiglass just get a headlight restore kit sand side facing the actual clock with 1000 grit to remove red then switch to 3000 grit, next use polish on a clean cloth. Red is removed with no scratches have the nice blue clock numbers. Use a black sharpie to restore what little black background removed when sanding off the red. Hope this helps.

Written instructions are easy to follow. I'm not taking 2 hours worth of pictures for a 15 min job. Work smarter not harder. Smart people only need written instructions. Sorry

Your big mod is not hard to understand!!
It's nice for members to see the end result BEFORE sanding the red off.

It's kinda the point of having a write up.
    Not to insult members.

Not meaning to insult anyone but when clock is hard to see red and it goes to easy to read white I thought that would be enough. Lots of posts I have read have no pictures. Thanks.

Its not hard. Just post an after picture. Like this guy said...
We just want to know what the result looks like before we do it. If its that much trouble to take just an after picture and post it, I'm not really sure why you bothered to write the post in the first place. Im interested in the mod. But i want to know what its going to look like after i do it. Instructions are easy to follow. But if i dont like the end result, maybe i dont want to do it at all.
