Hood Scoop Help

Hi I got a 2016 TRD offroad and I ordered a whole new hood with the hoodscoop. Well the hood arrived and has been sitting in the body shop for 5 months now but no scoop. I have heard everything from toyota from they are on backorder and wont be available for 6 months to its gonna be gere next week. When it did arrive it was a 2015 hood scoop. Anyone in the know out there that can tell me whats going on. Is this little piece of fiverglass that rare and hard to get from toyota?

I may be wrong but the hood scoop area seems to be MOULDED into the hood .The actual scoop is set into that mould

 

Order an add on skewp from lund. They are paintable, easy install, and you can get different styles.

 

if i buy a sport i switch with someone for a hood without a scoop

Hey guys anyone have an y idea where i could find a nice scoop (Real air flow directly into my engine bay) or a hood with one that is paint mathing, maybe are 4runners universal hoods for tacomas?
