To be fair, he can easily make up part of the cash he spent by selling his new OEM stuff.

It's actually all boxed up and put away. Keeping them for when I need my suspension parts rebuilt. Haha.

    Johnny,
    So what's Soco's affiliation with http://www.customlnl.com/

A simple search copying the phone number (7195054733) on Soco's FB page led me to www.customlnl.com in which case the same Tundra is on both sites. I'm not sure you are being completely honest with TW memebers here and I find it hard to believe you just stumbled across Soco when all they have is a facebook page which only has like 300 something likes. I would speculate you are running both sites, Soco and customlnl, but I could be wrong.

I've seen this on here way too many times and have seen lots of people get screwed over by companies like this. They collect money and then close up shop. In this case Soco falls off the face of the earth and Mr customlnl starts another shady company to collect more money from people so eager to fork it over in an attempt to save a few bucks.

Something TWers need to ask themselves....
Since Soco is affiliated with customlnl why doesn't customlnl just expand their site to include suspension product? Why start this FB company?

Honestly what's really going on here?

This just screams scam to me, but I could be wrong and hope I am if people already spent money.

Ya man sorry i am jumping shop on this one to the ris isn't worth the reward. I did a search for soco in Colorado and the only thing that poped up was a fb account and to have only start his fb in march with as much as he has it just doesn't add up. Hope it really isn't a scam but I can't throw down that money and roll the dice.

I did meet him on a tacoma Facebook page. Toyota tacoma enthusiast. And I have his personal Facebook page.

I am in no way affiliated with the company. I am actually purchasing items from soco auto as well. So far he hasn't indicated any sketchyness to me. He always messages me back. I have even posted to his personal fb just as a test. And he has responded.

And if he does try to scam tw I will be the first to fly to colorado and find this guy.

So im giving him some faith. And hopefully if this group buy goes well he will be able to grow his company

Hello fellas, it's been awhile since I have posted on here and only had a few post. The only reason I've posted here before because I was looking at getting a Tacoma but just bought another Tundra instead. I have been speaking with Johnny for awhile and he has been working this groups buy trying to help guys out that are interested in the same items he is buying. I am SOCO Auto. There have been guys interested in getting some products and they will be taken care of. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact me. My number has been posted. I am in now way affiliated with Johnny besides discussing options with him. we have worked a lot on tundra forums and others. We are working on getting more Toyotas and becoming a larger company. Look forward to working with all of you.

I have received an invoice for payment from SOCO as requested. Prices seem fair and are in line with typical group buy discounts.

Thanks @pjosh6 for working on getting your business up and running.

Thanks @johnnys219 for working on this. Best of luck on your personal situations.

Perhaps a proper intro from the start would have helped since the Soco's FB page and customlnl explains nothing about you or your company(s). I get that you are a start up and trying to build a business, but with so many people being taken advantage of these days by small companies like this its scary to do business with them. Doing a little research on the web nothing comes up on either company as far as licensing goes, not even reviews.

So the question begs..... do you run customlnl or is this a friends company? If its a friends company do you have a resale license or are you simply buying from the friend at customlnl? Should this be the case returns might be complicated since you really are not the buyer and may not even have the operating capital to support the up front expense of returns. Also do you even carry inventory of the products you are doing a group buy for? I know FOX recently went through a change in which case FOX product can be very difficult to come by. This often leads to long lead times which the customers should be aware of before buying.

These would be concerns of mine if I were to buy from Soco and therefore I feel are questions that need to be answered. Thus far you really have not answered any of the questions I have presented, doing so I feel would only help you out.

Really don't mean to be a pain just looking out for fellow TWers

    Best of luck!
