So here's the deal, Friday I installed new wheels and tires on my sr5 without tpms sensors. Well, as expected the dash just showed lines by each tire and every time I would start the truck the light would blink for a little while then just stay on. So today I drove the truck 4 seperate times and everytime the light blinked on startup and then went away. Is this normal? After a certain amount of time not seeing sensors will the light go off? Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes it's happened to me even AFTER I got new wheel sensors programmed by the dealer.

Try pressing the reset button by your left knee... take the truck for a 15 minute drive and go at least 55mph on your drive... The light will go off and then sometimes when you go over say 70mph it will mysteriously come back on for a few more trips and then go off again and repeat.

The thing to do is get new sensors and have them programed in ... if you get programmable sensors its best to program the new ones with the same ID as the old ones.
