I can't make it but am looking forward to any pictures you might take. If it doesn't scare me off I might want to go in the future.

I got false info on last weekend at Twisted Trails and there was no event going on. It was open but only a few people there so we decided to explore and glad we did. Went into the woods and found great trails / seasonal roads along M-115 North of Cadillac & Crystal Mountain.
Stopped a few times along the coast in Frankfort
There was TONS of trail we didn't have time to go on and TONS more we won't do in the Taco but can't wait to scrape up the 1990 when we return.

I have family in town from Alaska, so i have to play host all weekend. I did however just install OME Heavy Kit and 33" KO2's so i'm itching to get out on trails or go to one of the parks.

I live in the western U.P. in the Ottawa Nat'l forest, so basically everything is off road. Hound dog bear training starts on july 8th so i'll be seeing A LOT of off road very soon.

    New shoes. 265/70 R17 C

The ride is a little rough but I think they probably aired them up too high. I can feel every ripple, bump, and bit of gravel in the road.

I know of at least a couple of us are in the Ann Arbor area, which is fairly close. I also think there is someone else on Windsor side, if you can't find anyone in Detroit let me know!

I see why it's not showing up, the event was created in the Silver Lake group. Anyways, someone is trying to schedule a "Toyota take over" event at silver lake sand dunes on Sunday, Aug 14th if anyone on here is interested.

That's really close to me. It might be fun to go and see what others have but if I took my truck it would be in the tuner category. I don't think that's right for an overland vehicle.
