I know. I was asking if it was a cvt because mine didn't come with those.

I think CVT stopped including them because some folks reported that the elastic cords pulled at the seams and caused some leaks. I have them and have no leaks

Just a bunch of old crap
Finally got to field test the new awning and tent body for it, now that the brackets were re-fabbed at the proper height. Here's the full setup from this past 4 day weekend trip.

    QUESTION

Getting ready to buy a CVT Mt. Bachelor within the next week or two and I can't decide between the extended or the regular. Those with CVT tents how important do you think the over hang is? Was it worth the extra cash?

Worth it if you don't like icy water running off the fly and down your backside when entering/exiting the tent. Also makes the annex a more usable space since the two areas are directly connected and you have more height. Still perfectly happy with my choice

yea its a tough call. I have the same one and I love that you can open the door and look out it. I guess you have 3 other windows you can look out, but I always seem to use the door.

But, like Lisa said, it would be nice to have the overhang when its raining.

Forgot that....near 360 views without the overhang. Good when investigating things that go bump in the night

If I had it to do over, I'd get the Tepui version of the overhang.
