I got a cheap Amazon one. Didnt feel like spending $500+ for a Rigid.. But no wiring harness came with it. I have a different harness that I was going to cut up.

Can I put the negative wire from the light bar, to the fuse block too?

I'm sorry, I'm working so I was in a hurry the first time I answered you. I gave you the wrong info on the wiring.

I'm not sure what you have for a harness, but @Raxman80 selks them for like $15 I have three of them.

Get yourself the proper harness, follow the diagram and you'll be good to go. It's really pretty easy.

And no, you can't ground to the fuse panel. Unless you have an aftermarket one that has a provision fot it.

You need a good chassis ground.

Ill message him. Ive got a blue sea fuse panel with 12 spaces, and a 100amp breaker. Someone set up the extra relays, but Ive been unsure about wiring, so I havent even attempted to see what I have. I just installed the fuse panel, but didnt connect anything to it. Ive also got an Iggy switch panel, with 3 switches that were prewired. Just dont know what to do now. I guess I need to sit down and follow your directions

Oh nice. That panel may or may not have a grounding lug. You can order them either way. Mine does not.

To wire the fuse panel you just run a 4 gauge cable from the battery to the breaker. Then another 4 gauge cable from the breaker to the panel.

If you have an Iggy panel it most likely gas Carling switches in it. Here are the wiring instructions for Carling switches
    http://www.otrattw.net/wiring-diagrams.html
Just match up the part # on your switches to the appropriate link.

This is the tool I used to make my cables:

Some models of Blue Seas Fuse Blocks have a Neg Bus. This is what I have. Negative comes directly from the battery. You can ground all your accessories/lights via a wire into the fuse block.

Northstar battery installed. Now I can scratch this project off the list. Next up, HC rear bumper and one piece driveshaft.

I picked up the new one piece driveshaft and threw it in after work tonight.

The shaft is 1/8 inch thick steel. Look at the difference in the slip joint diameter. I didn't measure, but it's noticeable.

I also had them use a slip joint that was splined the entire length instead if the normal couple of inches. Hopefully this will keep any high speed wobbles at bay.

    image.jpg

The slip joint is also greasable

Any benefits to a one piece aside from the fact it's built stronger that the oem?

Yes. It eliminates the crappy factory center support "carrier" bearing.

I had actually done the Polly bearing mod a couple of weeks ago.
    image.jpg
The problem with that was, I was worried about catching that flat bottom bar on something on a trail. It would't take too much to bend those extended bolts...

Couple that with the vibes I was getting? It was time to give up and go one piece.

I was curious if the new driveshaft got rid of the vibrations you were getting?

Nice... I like that you can grease the slip joint as well,it bothers me that the factory one doesn't have a zerk on it.I know the boot is there and all but I still would like to get some grease in there easily.
