    Hello Tacoma World
This is just my personal experience trying to find cool lights for my wife's Tacoma. She has a 2012 trdor dcsb.
The 1st set was bought in California, fxr projectors is what was used these were great lights but in about 5 mos on truck they developed a white haze on inside of lens that really looked bad. So $1550.00 cost was $310 a month for headlights ouch lol.
The 2nd set was bought in Georgia, LS460 projectors used. These lights were not good as far as cutoff and in 30 days had bad moisture in lenses, so bad that it took the bulb out. So $2000.00 cost was $2000.00 a month ouch ouch lol.
The 3rd set was bought in Alabama, mini projectors used. These lights were not good at all for anything, the turn signal bulbs fell inside because they melted and broke. These were on truck for 2 mos. So $950.00 cost was $475 a month ouch again.
The 4th set was bought from Pavel at kustom54lighting after I called and told him the retrofit experience I had been through. I told him I was not spending another dime on retrofits. He said he would make my outlook on retros change and told me how he would do it. The lights he built for me just like I wanted them simple but nice. He took all the old stuff and is trying to get me a spare set out of all 3 of the other sets he did not have to do that but he did anyways. Ok these cost what he charges on his website depending what options you want ,I wanted good bulbs so that is where I upgraded. These lights have been on truck for 4 mos and showing no problems and for me thats gonna be a record before long lol. I will update if problems show up. Pavel has answered all my calls ,yes and sometimes I had to leave a message but he always got back to me. I would refer him to anybody that needs a retrofit done. He does many different lights not just Tacoma lights. If you need retrofit work done at least give him a call and talk to him and see for yourself if he can help you.

Did you contact any of those vendors about their products failing? I would not be happy spending that much coin and having their products fail in such a short time frame. I would expect a reputable vendor to stand behind their product.

Yes I did try to contact these people Crashburn80 the 1st ones in Cali said order another set because they knew what was wrong but after that they were having issues and went awol for a while right when I had no lights so kinda both our faults as I was skeptical about having same problems again.
The one in Georgia would not even answer or text back I tried many times.
The person in Alabama does not do them anymore but I did not try him back other than to tell him that they lasted only 2 mos.
