After I beat on her a while and she's done I'll swap the goodies to the 92 and do something like this...

So much goes into this planning to get it working. The 2.5s are going to force spacers and/or a BS less than 4.0 with the BAMF kit. This will make wheel choices even less.

I run a custom valved smoothie and I personally feel its plenty for my :turtleride: style of wheeling.

As for CDC vs non, its your $$.

Build it for how you want to use it mang, and be happy.

I'm willing to put the effort to make the 2.5s fit.. Do you think the Ibp option is worth the extra $$? This is the final decision I have to make before I pull the trigger on a new setup

I cant make that call because I have no idea what you want from your build or how you drive it. The IBP seems to be more geared for the gofast stuff IIRC ( http://www.kingshocks.com/products/options/ibp-internal-bypass/ ) and for someone who really wants to tune every bit of the shock performance. That's some next level OCD stuff :)

Most on here want to buy it off the shelf an bolt it on and not worry about that much tuning.

You can tune with valving, CDCs and now the IBP. Its a lot to wrap your head around for someone with a DD/ Weekend Offroad rig IMHO. But hey, its your $$$.

Im personally very happy with my smoothbodies. :turtleride:

So on my coilovers I have about 1-3/4" of thread showing (bottom of top plate to top of spring perch,) that seems about 3/4" to 1" more thread than I see others running. Is my preload that much different than what you guys run? I can get pictures of my CV angles, etc, but I was trying to get a better idea of how my coilovers are performing.

I have Fox 2.5, extended travel, IFPs.

What spring rate? How old are they? What additional weight do you have in the front end?

600lb, 13", with really no additional weight, besides a 1/4" front skid. Brand new.

I thought Icon was the only brand to use a 13" spring?

This is my understanding as well. Is it possible he has Icon 13" springs on?

Another possibility. 13" springs would explain the 1 3/4" preload.
I think he may need to call Fox and get some answers.

If it is a 13" spring then more than likely it'll be a 650 lb Icon spring not 600 like he said earlier.
