I'm almost 67 and retired for 4+ years. Couldn't be happier with my retirement, although occasionally wish I had a little more $$ for discretionary spending. But I'm living as well or better than when I was working; have good health; happily married; and a loving family who live in the Seattle area. I like to travel, hunt (esp. bird hunting with my Lab), fish, camp, golf, and generally spend my best times outdoors doing stuff.

Drove a 2000 and 2007 Tacoma from 2001 to 2015, when I purchased a Subaru Outback. Prior to this I drove a Nissan PU and a 4-Runner. There are many things I like about the OB, but I miss having a PU. But I told myself when I bought the OB that I would give it at least 1 year, preferably 2, before making a decision to stick with the OB or go back to a Tacoma. The 2007 Tacoma was the best vehicle I ever owned in terms of functionality (crew cab, 4WD) and reliability.

Well, I'm coming up on 2 years in early 2017 and am starting to think about my decision. Basically I've concluded I'll get another Taco if, and it's a big "if", my portfolio is in good shape and I can afford to buy it with cash.

So I'm starting my research on the next Tacoma and will use this forum and other resources to help me with the decision process.
