Well the battery size is just that, you actually have to pay attention to the higher or lower pressure rating or metallurgy of the traps themselves.

    Clarification:

For instance, a D size battery end cap fits a D size mag lite

C sized fits C battery maglites

I had ToyTecs lift already. I stuck with the preloaded settings at 2.5" and compression/rebound. They're about 3/4" higher right now but they'll settle I'm sure. Same with the rear.

Just some tips when you installed....

-you will need a 8-9mm drill bit, though we used a 5/16 cause who has metric drill bits... you have to drill a hole in the rear lower shock mount.

-the instructions say to torque the rear lower shock mount bolt that goes where the normal shock mounts prior to putting the new shock in. Don't torque that bolt till the shock is mounted! It'll pull the new bracket tight and make it hard to fester lower mount on the shock in.

-we found it easier to mount the lower part of the stocking then use a prybar to compress the shock and get the top in the bucket. We tried mounting the top first per the instructions but the shock is stiff and not sure how they expected us to get the lower end in the bracket.

Wow did they get you in same day? Usually I've had to make appointments to get in. The again I usually drop it off before work and pick it up after. Hope you were pleased with them though! Always hate to recommend a place and hear later someone wasn't happy with them. Dad has used them for a good20-25 years so it's a bit different when you are on a first name basis with everyone lol.

Those are only legal to sell as is because the plugs aren't drilled out. Soon as you drill them out you have a suppressor. You can't shoot it without them being drilled out. Before drill g you would need to have received your form 1 back from the atf.

Ya, the Oil Can Henry's place that he recommended didn't take appointments; first come, first served. When we arrived, one of the two bays was available. I am definitely satisfied with the service, prices, and the rush to get it done.

There were two weird things about the experience. When I called the radiator flush was $89.99 but when I got there it was $119.99. They still honored the price that I was quoted but said that the call center is located somewhere in the mid-west and they didn't know what they were talking about. The call center also said that Radiator and Transmission fushes took about 25-30 min and they would be done at the same time but I was there for a good hour since they didn't do them at the same time. That is no big deal since I was expecting to have to come back and get the truck another time but I was late for a meeting.

Brad at L&R was nice and I may still take the truck there for other things in the future (if needed) but I am set for now.

If you guys are in store for some traction boards. Amazon has a pair of Maxsa Innovation ones for sale. 20% off the total price if you have Amazon Prime and another $5 if you choose No Rush delivery. And also if you know anyone that works at Amazon they get another $15 off the order. Got a set for $103 compared to $299 for Maxtrax.

Pretty sure I'm tire shopping this weekend. Eyeballing the Cooper stt pro's in 285/70/17. Need to find the cheapest place. I wish discount was doing their buy 2 get $100 off deal right now.

285/70's will fit on the 17" sport wheels right? I have spacers.

So I had all of my zerks fittings greased but but I still have a squeak in my driver side knuckle. I have heard of some other having issues as well. I plan on taking the tie rod end and uniball apart to grease them but does anyone have any ideas of what it might be?

What kind of drop hitch would you guys recommend? I have a 6 inch lift and want to drop it a bit to tow my utility trailer.

More brand. I only have one trailer and planned to do a hight check to see how much I needed to drop it. I was just worried about brand so I don't buy something cheap.

I think Reese is a pretty good name in trailer hitches, but it won't break the bank. When you get a drop hitch, get something that allows the tongue of the trailer to slope downward towards the front rather than upward. That gives you better towing-handling.

I think we should do a big TW summer time BBQ!!!

We need someone to host who has enough room for parking and grilling. We could cook beef, pork, chicken, venison, elk, fish, oysters? Maybe pick up an 80ish lb pig?

Maybe a keg or some growlers?

    @busmup808 ?

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I've got parking and room inside. But I don't know if I have a wife that'll accommodate. I'll talk to her.. 20th or 27th.
