Well first off let me say I knew better. I took my truck in for its first 5k mile free service. Before I did this I removed my gps, small tool box, Costa sunglasses, knife and small air compressor and change in the console. However I forgot the flashlight that was in its own box with charger under the front seat. I bought this just for emergency reasons and it was a dedicated light for the truck. Never used before, no one else drives my truck and I know for sure some punk at the dealer snagged it. With that being said I know I'm shit out of luck because it's been over a month and not worth making a stink over it at the dealer. Just a warning to all. REMOVE YOUR VALUABLES. Ok thanks I'm done with my rant.

I'd sure as hell be at the dealership. Someone needs to let them know they have an untrustworthy employee.

Have you tried just calling the service dept and asking if they found it? Sure, maybe someone stole it, but could maybe the porter have bumped it pulling out the carpet protector and they found someone's flashlight and didn't know who's?

Sucks bro, but after a month, I wouldn't even bother going back to the dealership.

You sure it was in the truck. There are times where I could have swore that I had certain items in the truck and come to find out I put them somewhere else. Maybe it shows up somewhere else?

Yea I'm sure it was in the truck. When I bought it, I charged it up and stuck it under the seat and haven't use it at all. Today when I went to check and see if it was still charged. BAM , holly shit it's gone and I knew immediately what happen.

You could be fired in a flash for something like that, and your phone wouldn't be lighting up with job offers.

Yea, I checked both back compartments and everywhere else. Some places where hard to check cause I didn't have a flashlight.

In the dark here, let me get this spiffy new light out to see if it helps. Found it at some Toyota dealership, laying in the parking lot.

To shed light on such a dark situation, I have a bright idea that will light the way. Don't buy a new flashlight, just go back to the stealership, turn out their lights and see who is the first one to turn on a flashlight and bam! You have your theif :D
