I guess I finally caught a break in life.
Not all, but more than a few threads in here are nothing but a bitch session. I get it I really do. I mean if your transmission oil is low or you have a bad steering wheel on a $35k vehicle, who wouldn't be mad.
So I drive over the road and when I go home, I'm so damn nervous that one of the thread that I read will happen to me. Well luckily, no, it hasn't!
I'm truly HAPPY with my truck, not one bitch here. Of all the things I have read and FYI will continue to read. Why, because you guys/gals put out such great info and that's a fact jack!
I'm so thankful for this TW place to not only watch helpful videos but also, read what to do and what not to do.
So keep up those sessions weather positive or negative, because they all help!

I am, as I stated, I get people's anger on new vehicles. Normally I'd be one of those, because that's been my luck, plus I've wanted a truck for so long and expected something to go that direction, but it hasn't! :headbang:

I've been very happy with my truck as well. Although it is currently at the dealer due to the A/C not blowing cold anymore in traffic and it wanting to overheat as well. We'll see what they find out. Other then that its been a great truck and I really enjoy it!!!!

Happy with mine, too. Always thought the tranny shifted fine. Literally just picked it up from the dealer (had them do services 1 and 2 at just past 6000km) and had them check the tranny fluid level (among other requests) - sure enough, filled properly from the get go. Have had my truck since early February - made in San Antonio.

Another happy 3rd gen owner here. It doesn't matter what you buy there will always be something wrong with it or something you don't like. In my case the good out weighs the bad.

Same here...not one problem with my truck. Had them check my tranny oil and zerk fittings before I picked it up and never had a problem. Smooooooth sailing.

Totally happy here too. Mileage is great at 20+ and so what if the leaf spring squeaks a bit and my transmission takes a second to get into gear. It has a warranty and i love driving it. Will be even happier after the new tires are on this afternoon and i finally carpet my platform in the bed.

You have to keep in mind that 95% of tacoma owners likely experience either very few, or none of the issues you'll read about on this forum. I'm not trying to discredit the few on here that are complaining, I'm sure there are problems on a couple of them just like any other fresh generation in any other company. It really sucks getting a crummy product, especially when it's from a brand you trust. I haven't had any problems either, but I feel bad for those that have. It's a great truck and I love it.
